Highways

See the greenspace strategy which sets the scene for the highways proposal.

This proposal for infrastructure improvements shows the main spine of the B3092 (Culverhill to Blatchbridge) running north – south, with a new road connecting the B3092, through the site allocated by MDC & on to the lower part of Feltham Lane. This ensures that traffic does not increase by Christchurch School on The Mount. It minimises the impact in Little Keyford Lane & retains the B3092 as the main route.

If we add in the needed sites for business space (grey), a new link road is required, ensuring that larger vehicles deflect to the major roads (west part of site). Smaller retail / office spaces are proposed on the east side of the site (pink).

At a much later date, if more business space is needed, an expansion could be added from the Ski Slope, and a final infrastructure addition for business south east of the river.
